The Pulsar Xlite V2 Mini Retro Edition (2569/3000) is a really solid built little mouse. Equipped with Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot switches on the main clicks, instead of the Kailh 8.0s is a game changer!

Does anyone have a particular brand of wired mouse they've found to be reliable?
I prefer a basic button layout: left, right, and clickable scroll wheel. Extra buttons are useless.
I used to use Logitech but they're inconsistent. Some last a few years; my last one only made it a year until it had click problems.
I tried EVGA because they claim a much higher click lifetime for a price comparable to other mice, but the build quality is trash. The scroll wheel failed within the first month--it scrolled up and down simultaneously every time.
They made me argue for them to pay for shipping for an RMA, expecting me to pay more than the cost of a mouse to ship it back. (Yeah. I did not tolerate that. They sent a shipping label.) Now, a few months later, the scroll wheel is failing again. 🙃
I'm not sure who makes a decent mouse anymore. Recommendations?

note ₊˚⊹ ᰔ i'm a fps gamer (valorant && cs2) and i prefer light-weight mice !! started with a logi g502 hero, currently using a viper v3 !! all prices are found from taobao .ᐟ.ᐟ mchose a7 -- logitech superlight dupe
Tumblr media
in my cart,, will post a review when i receive it ! super duper worth it for this price price: $50 size: large
polling rate: 8000hz weight: 56g
wireless
.ᐟ.ᐟ lamzu atlantis mini pro -- it's pink!!
Tumblr media
one of the cutest mouse with solid performance, def getting this as well! there are better mice for this performance, design plays a huge factor in the price price: $106 on taobao size: large polling rate: 8000hz weight: 51g wireless
.ᐟ.ᐟ lamzu maya -- waittt isn't this the same?
Tumblr media
difference between the two is that the maya is lighter and has a more accomodating shape compared to the atlantis! price: $136 size: small polling rate: 8000hz weight: 47g wireless
.ᐟ.ᐟ pulsar x2 crazylight -- 35g?!?!
Tumblr media
lightest mouse i've found so far! pulsar software never fails as well, comes with many different colours! price: $178 size: large polling rate: 8000hz weight: 35g wireless

Was talking to someone about how I hated running my heat in the winter because it's so expensive and I started to say that I got a space heater and they cut me off and were like "Ah yeah, space heaters run up your energy bill so much" I guess thinking that when I said heating my home in the winter was expensive they thought I meant.. with my space heater??? And I was so bewildered by their confidence that I didn't even correct them, like I knew for a fact that was ridiculous but I second guessed myself like "Am I wrong?? Should I have just been running my central heat instead of using a space heater?" But of course I looked it up later and like.. yeah sure enough the thing that space heaters are designed to do does make them more cost efficient than central heat! Unless they assumed that I was trying to like.. heat my entire home with space heaters? Which yeah, that might cost more/about the same as just turning on the heat, but that's.. not what I do? If they had let me actually finish my sentence I was trying to explain that I just leave the heat off and run a heater in my bedroom! Which is in no way more expensive than running central heat for my entire house...

my relationship with technology and apple/microsoft specifically can be perfectly represented by the fact that i am typing this on
a Microsoft ergonomic PS/2 keyboard from the 90s
plugged into an active PS/2-USB converter
plugged into the USB slot on a programmable keypad
that can only be programmed on a Windows device
plugged into a USB-C hub with USB A slots, an HDMI slot, an ethernet slot, and SD/microSD slots
that I bought on NewEgg for half the price of Apple's shitty peripherals
plugged into my M1 MacBook Air, which I actually like rather a lot
